The bottom line was they were only prepared to look at figures that were 12 months old, despite the fact that in the 2008/09 year we have almost doubled our income. If I was a salaried employee, they wouldn't have cared about 07/08, but would have insisted on my most recent 6 months worth of payslips. Crazy. Needless to say, we're not taking the first no and are moving on to find another lender.
